Tal Barahi temple (Nepali: तालबाराही मन्दिर) also known as ‘Lake Temple’ or ‘Barahi Temple’ is a Hindu temple of the goddess Barahi. It is the most important religious monument in Pokhara, Nepal. This temple is located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake. As the temple is situated on a small island, the only way to visit it is by boat. The temple is a symbol of the manifestation of Ajima representing the female force. Devotees visit the temple in the Nepalese months of Baisakh (April-May) and Kartik (November-December).
Lumbini Museum
A museum has been part of the Lumbini Master Plan right from the beginning in 1978. The Lumbini museum is housed in a group of vaulted brick structure designed by the Japanese architect Kenzo Tange, winner of the 1987 Pritzker Prize for architecture. The museum collected artefacts such as statues and paintings and architectural models and copies of famous works of art from all Asian countries to become a documentation of the development of Buddhist art over the centuries. For example, one section of the museum collected ceremonial items and dress. Apart from artefacts, photos are on display recording the history of the Lumbini pilgrimage site in the modern era. The exhibiton is currently undergoing a restauration and a rearrangement of the objects.
Pashupatinath Temple

Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most revered Hindu shrines located in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is dedicated to Lord Pashupatinath, who is considered the patron deity of Nepal and one of the most important deities in Hinduism. The temple complex, which covers an area of over 300,000 square meters, contains several smaller temples, as well as ashrams, bathhouses, and ghats along the banks of the Bagmati River. The main temple, which was built in the 5th century, is a two-tiered pagoda-style structure with intricate carvings and golden roofs. It is considered one of the holiest places in Hinduism and attracts millions of pilgrims from around the world every year. The temple is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Hindu culture and history.
